Biography
Rosanne Schmidt is a qualified biokineticist with a strong passion for human movement, posture correction, and exercise-based rehabilitation. Her interest in biokinetics was driven by her love for working with people and her curiosity about how the human body functions and adapts through movement.
Rosanne completed a Bachelor of Arts in Human Movement Science in 2004, followed by Biokinetics Honours from North-West University in 2005. This academic foundation supports her evidence-based approach to improving functional movement and physical wellbeing through structured exercise therapy.
As a mother of three, Rosanne has a particular interest in working with children and adolescents, especially in the management of posture-related conditions. She uses age-appropriate play and exercise to improve muscle tone, coordination, and movement control in a supportive and engaging environment.
In addition, Rosanne has a special interest in knee-related conditions, helping patients improve strength, stability, and alignment to support injury recovery and long-term joint health. Her biokinetics programmes are tailored to the individual, focusing on functional outcomes that translate into everyday movement and improved quality of life.
Rosanne is known for her warm, approachable manner and her ability to motivate patients of all ages, making rehabilitation both effective and enjoyable.
