Biography
Muneebah Solomon is an experienced physiotherapist with a strong background in neurological rehabilitation, orthopaedic physiotherapy, and hospital-based care. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Cape Town in 2013.
Following graduation, Muneebah worked at Netcare Rehabilitation Hospital for four years, where she treated a wide range of complex conditions. Her clinical experience includes the rehabilitation of patients with stroke, amputations, burns, multiple fractures, traumatic brain injuries, Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS), and spinal cord injuries. This period provided extensive exposure to long-term rehabilitation and multidisciplinary care.
She later worked at Wilgeheuwel Hospital and Robinson Hospital, covering Intensive Care Units (ICU) as well as medical, surgical, neurological, and orthopaedic wards. This broad hospital experience strengthened her ability to manage both acute and chronic conditions across different healthcare settings.
Muneebah has completed multiple postgraduate courses, including Global Upper and Lower Quadrant training and Dry Needling, enhancing her manual therapy and pain management skills. In 2019, she further advanced her qualifications by completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy, reinforcing her expertise in the assessment and treatment of complex musculoskeletal conditions.
Muneebah combines evidence-based practice with a compassionate, patient-centred approach, helping patients regain function, reduce pain, and achieve meaningful long-term recovery.
