Biography
Tamryn Robertson is a dedicated physiotherapist with a strong foundation in hospital-based and outpatient care, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and chronic pain conditions. She qualified with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2020.
Following graduation, Tamryn completed her community service at Tonga District Hospital in rural Mpumalanga, where she gained valuable experience managing complex cases in a resource-limited setting. During this time, she also volunteered as a physiotherapist for the Malelane Rugby Team, supporting injury management and player rehabilitation.
After community service, Tamryn worked in and around Randburg, providing physiotherapy care to patients both in-hospital and in outpatient settings. Her clinical experience includes treating neurological conditions, chronic pain, orthopaedic injuries, and vascular patients, giving her a well-rounded and adaptable approach to patient care.
Tamryn joined the NHC Health Centre in 2024 and has since continued to expand her clinical expertise through multiple postgraduate courses. She has a particular special interest in Women’s Pelvic Health, focusing on evidence-based assessment and treatment to support women’s health, function, and quality of life.
Tamryn is known for her compassionate, patient-centred approach and her commitment to helping patients move better, recover confidently, and achieve long-term outcomes through personalised physiotherapy care.
